FELICIAN SISTERS AUXILIARY Meeting on Monday, September 13th at 6:30 pm at St. Stan's Parish Center. THANK YOU The response was tremendous!! Thank you one and all for your help!! The school supplies that were donated have been divided between BACS, Catholic Federal Credit Union, the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission and to our parishioners in need. We still have a few supplies if any parishioners are still in need. Please contact the parish office. BISHOP'S CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC All are welcome to participate in the fifth annual Bishop's Charity Golf Classic on Sept. 22nd & 23rd to raise funds for Seminarian Education. This event is for non-golfers too. The Dinner & Silent Auction will be held Wednesday evening in Midland and the Golf Classic follow the next day at Swan Valley Golf Course. Cost: Banquet only-$65 per person or $480 per table of 8. Golf only-$100 per person or $400 per foursome. Please check the bulletin insert for registration forms and more information. GET OUT OF DEBT The Catholic Diocese of Saginaw and St. Boniface Parish are offering Dave Ramsey's thirteen week program entitled Financial Peace University. The program is a video-based, small group study that teaches families how to beat debt, build wealth, and give like never before. Preview session will be held on Sunday, August 29th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Boniface's Parish Center at 510 N. Lincoln. Classes begin on September 9th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Parish Center. There is a fee for the classes which covers the cost of materials. Partial scholarships are available. SAGINAW DIOCESE OF CATHOLIC WOMEN All women of the diocese are invited to attend the Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 16, at the Diocesan Center for Ministry in Saginaw. The day begins with registration from 9:45-10:00 am and will end at 2:30 pm. Mass will be celebrated. Cost for the day is $13, which includes lunch. In the morning, Fr. Thai Hung Nguyen will speak about his journey to the priesthood. Joan LaPointe will speak about Lay Ministry in the afternoon session. Attendees are asked to bring garbage bags of paper goods for Emmaus House if they are able. RSVP by Sept. 13 to Betty Ross 792-6090 or Rita Maher 989-635-7072. 50th JUBILEE CELEBRATION Sr. Mary's Jubilee Celebration will be held on September 12th. The celebration begins with Mass at 11:00 a.m. There will be a special program at 2:00 p.m. in church. Following the program, there will be refreshments St. Patrick Hall. We are asking all choir members to participate at the Jubilee Mass. Choir practice will be held in the practice room at 10:15 a.m. before Mass. BAY AREA CATHOLIC SCHOOLS Bay Area Catholic Schools will be hosting two important meetings in September to discuss the future direction for the schools. Among the topics will be BACS current status, possible school consolidation, enrollment and finances. The meeting will consist of a presentation followed by an opportunity for input. The content of the meetings will be same to offer you a chance to attend whichever meeting best fits into your schedule. Sun., Sept. 12, 2:00-4:00 pm or Tuesday, Sept. 14, 6:30-8:30 pm.
